I have made my first poo!

I'm going to do some more filming tomorrow, that's if it doesn't bloody well rain!

Finally got some latex!

I ordered some stuff from Ajan's show-biz centre weeks ago and after hearing nothing from them after e-mailing them, I thought sod it and found somewhere else. The site I ordered some latex and paints from was homecrafts direct and it arrived within a week, well packaged via courier. Now I can finally make some poo!

The result of the hill climb...

It's just a brief establishing shot, but it does the job.

I'm currently working on the facehugger poo.

It's not nearly finished yet though.

I climbed up a hill yesterday...

To get an establishing shot for the film. I'm hoping this will give the film a sense of scale and make it seem bigger than it really is.

At the top is just a small wooden bench

The view is breathtaking, you can see the whole town from up there.

I taped my camcorder to an old skate I found in the attic, which the odd sound you can hear. This is a short POV short which I'm going to overdub with the sound of a whoopee cushion.

Thanks to youtube, it looks blocky as hell.

I've done the pre-credit sequence to the film...

I've finally figured how to make in widescreen on a standard TV and not look stretched anymore.

I should have started this blog ages ago!

I've made a fake torso for the chestburster scene...

There's a hole in the middle. (which you can't see because the torso is really crude and not worth showing properly!)

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

A few years ago I was messing about on the computer, making up funny pictures. I did the picture on the header and last year the idea to make a film based on that image came into my head. So at the beginning of this year I started thinking about what I was capable of doing, what resources I had available to me and what locations where around me. I wrote the script based on this...


I went scouting the local area for locations in the beginning of spring...






I started making and bought some props...



I've never made a film before and I haven't got a clue what I'm doing, but I just thought what the hell. It's something I want to do, so I just gonna do it!
